I love that they chose to bring Clinton’s Dad’s old ’57 Chevy along for the shoot!  Clinton was a trooper driving around with no AC following us all over Lubbock. Engagement sessions are always easiest when couples truly can’t get enough of each other…and that was the case for these two.  Cuddling, kissing, laughing…they did it all with ease and I think it shows! :) I can’t wait to get to be a part of their wedding in December!! It’s gonna be a gorgeous affair fit for these two beautiful people! :)

She is going to make a gorgeous bride! And Cory is the perfect groom to match! I LOVE the romance in these shots…and they had some sweet laughter too! We drove all over downtown Lubbock and fought the crazy wind- but they were such good sports about it all!

(haha…yes that not normal, but there was some driving involved in that!)  We met with Shelby several months ago when she booked us for her wedding.  I remember her face would light up when she would talk about Cole. Her eyes would sparkle and the expression written across her face was one of pure adoration for this guy. Ever since then, I couldn’t wait to meet Cole and see the two of them together. Shelby is GORGEOUS and Cole matches her perfectly. Within the first 10 minutes of the session, Shelby stopped to mention that she was LOVING everything about it so far…and went on to say she could “kiss him all day”!   He laughed, kissed her gently on the temple and said “Yep, She’s a kisser.” I mean…HELLO! Can you get any more adorable than that!  I wanted to squeal like a little girl because I knew the rest of the session was going to be so easy… like watching a fairy tale unfold… these two were meant for one another and they have the kind of love that makes you look at them and get butterflies in your stomach thinking about the one you love. They way they looked at each other, they way they laughed with each other – every little thing they did was absolutely in sync with the other and it was so sweet to watch!  We started out shooting at Tech where they met, and then we took a little drive out to Afton, TX to Shelby’s family ranch. (With a few stops along the way) It was so fun! And these guys really are the sweetest! I had such a hard time choosing favorites, but I hope you guys enjoy these! And I hope they remind you to kiss and laugh with the one you love today!

Haha…okay not really for most people. But sadly it did take me 2 years to actually finally sort through all 6,000+ images that we took from our travels and choose some favorites to share with you all.  Every time I would start to sort through the photos I would get so overwhelmed and start to feel guilty for spending so much time working on my own photos instead of our clients and so I would stop and put it off for another day.  Well that day has finally arrived and I hope you guys can enjoy these and be taken away to another place if only for a few minutes, today!

Lately we’ve had several friends who are either about to travel overseas or have just come back from trips and it’s had me reminiscing about going back to Europe and shooting and traveling with my favorite travel partner (Aric of course).  We’ve been talking about going again sometime sooner rather than later… And I simply cannot wait. I believe it’s something everyone should do at least once in their life!  Life is too short and there’s SO much of the world to see and experience! I don’t care what you have to do…start saving now! and make it happen!

There’s way too many photos for me to explain each one of them, but as an overview all these photos are either in Paris or Bordeaux France, On a train going through the Alps, in Milan, Cique Terre, Lake Como, or Lake Maggiore Italy, or in London! And yes they are from 2 years ago, hence my short hair in all the photos! ;)

She had emailed us previously and we were still waiting to find a time to meet.  When we finally met with her and her mom it was one of those meetings that you walk away from thinking Umm..I love my job. :) She is the sweetest. She loved our work and she wasn’t afraid to tell us and her happy go lucky attitude was so refreshing! So I was super excited when their engagement session came around- it’s always so fun to meet the groom for the first time. To watch them together. To recognize all the little things that make a couple “work”. And these two definitely “work”. Taylor was just as kind and up for anything as Ashley was.  When we pulled up to the first location (which is kind of “out there” as far as looking picturesque goes) I was a little nervous that they were going to think we were crazy for stopping there, but the first thing Ashley said when she got out was “I love this! I’m so excited!”

Um…folks, that’s our kind of bride! We had so much fun hanging out with this couple! They are both incredible photogenic and Ashley has the eyes of a supermodel! No lie. I cannot wait to photograph her in her wedding gown on her wedding day! She is going to be one stunning bride!
