Easter is probably one of my favorite holidays. Of course when your younger it means easter egg hunts and lots of candy… But now that I’m older- it means Family time.

If anyone knows me, they know how much I love my family.  I mean, it’s hard not to, when your family is as cool as mine is. 😉 But in all seriousness.  Today for some reason- more than any other day I am humbled at how blessed I am.  Mostly in remembering what this holiday is truly all about – but also in knowing that in a few hours I’ll be at my grandparents lakehouse spending the weekend sitting on the dock, running around with my favorite little kiddos, playing with puppy dogs, eating ham sandwiches, talking with my mom, aunt, sister, and grandmother while the guys go fishing or working on a home improvement project…

I take my camera with me every time and usually chase my little cousins all over the place sticking my camera in their face…but this time I hope to take even more pictures. So that I can remember this time. And cherish it over and over and over again.  Because it’s times like this that truly matter.  Times in your life where you are in awe of what God has given you and you never want to take it for granted.

Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed Easter weekend remembering the reason for this holiday and giving your loved ones some extra love and attention. 🙂

And because posts are better with pictures…here are a few of some little girls I’ll be spending the weekend with…
