It’s gonna be hard to sum up Ashley & Jeff’s wedding into this small blog post.  Before we ever even met Ashley we already had so many strange connections- Aric & I met at the house that she grew up in.  Aric proposed to me at that same house. My parents built a house just down the road from that house and didn’t even know it, and one of our best friends (Brittany) is her cousin!! Such a small world!! When we finally got to meet Ashley for her bridal portraits it felt like we already knew her!!  Her and her mom did an excellent job planning her wedding.  The details were perfect, the venue, the flowers… Everything was thought out and it came together beautifully!

I love their love story- Ashley, a Texas girl, meeting and falling in love with Jeff, a California boy after they met in college at Stanford.

I had planned on writing a little more, but I think the pictures can speak for themselves! 🙂

I basically went crazy over Ashley’s dress. So fun and different!!!

I couldn’t decide which dress shot I liked better so I chose both! 🙂

Yes indeed, those are awesome pink cowboy boots.

Ashley is such a classic beauty! So easy to photograph!

First look time…

Two things I love about this shot of them seeing each other in wedding attire for the first time: 1. of course, his reaction and that huge smile on his face, and 2. The way she was standing with her arms behind her back. So sweet.

These were during the first look…

When I asked Ashley if there was a “theme” for her wedding and she answered “Lots of sparkle” I was super excited.  And she did not disappoint! There was sparkle everywhere you looked, even in her gorgeous bouquet!

The pretty girls

And some handsome men.

Aric killed it on this wedding with the ceremony shots. Seriously. My husband is so good.

And there were so many sweet moments so there are a lot from the ceremony…

LOVE this shot. so sweet.

And the way she looked at him?!?! Come ON! That’s good stuff right there!

And this was directly before their first kiss as husband and wife. So awesome right?!

There’s the sparkle again. The cake was beautiful!

I think Ashley’s ring could have been sparkle enough on its own.

They drove off in her Dad’s prized possession- his 1959 Pink Cadillac. So fun!!

They went from the wedding and reception at Bass Performance Hall, to the Dinner & Dance at Marquis on Magnolia.

Maid of Honor speech…

The Maid of Honor speeches always seem to elicit these types of reactions – Tears and laughter

Best Man speeches on the other hand…

tend to elicit these types of reactions… (photo below)  🙂

There were some very special guests at this wedding! 🙂

These two are without a doubt madly in Love.  We wish you both all the best in your new marriage together! Thanks so much for letting us be a part of it!!
