So much is happening here at Aric + Casey Photography!! 🙂

I’m still trying to catch up on emails…if you’re waiting on a response, expect one within the next few hours! 🙂  And if you don’t receive anything please assume we didn’t receive your email and email us again! 🙂  We have been having a few issues with our email system lately!

Aric has been cranking out album designs left and right, I’ve been trying to keep up with blogging and getting viewing galleries up for weddings and sessions… I’ve got a stack a mile high of picture orders and DVD’s that I’m ready to take to the mailbox tomorrow! 🙂  And another list a mile long of orders that still need to be printed! Thanks so much for everyone’s patience!!

We will be leaving on Saturday for Los Angeles for a workshop and we figured we will be there anyway-why not hang out for a few days!!  So if you know anyone in the LA area that needs pictures while we are there… Sept. 11-15th let us know!!!

We will get back, shoot an engagement session, do some laundry and then get back on a plane to Chicago to visit Aric’s family, celebrate his (our) little sister’s birthday, go to a cubs game, do some work and hang out again!  So again if anyone in Chicago needs pictures let us know! Sept. 18-22!

Lastly we will get back in time to shoot a wedding then head out of town again for the Dave Barnes concert in Dallas…an engagement shoot and some time with my family!!

We will be doing our best to answer emails and getting work done while we are on the road! 🙂

So anyway onto some teasers of what’s to come…

I’ll finally blog some of the images from the wedding that we second shot with Jason Huang of Table 4 Weddings in France!!

and I can’t wait to share some of the images we got from our wedding this weekend in Ruidoso, NM!

But for now, I’ll leave you with a slideshow of a birth that I got to be a part of in July.  It was absolutely one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced in my life!!  I saw a friend’s blog today with pictures of a newborn and the words she wrote about it I think are perfect for this… So I stole them from her! (Thanks Lindsey!!) Here’s what she said:

“The idea of being able to produce a life is so crazy to me….crazy in a good way.

To bring a child into this world is to be forced to loosen the grip you would like to think you have on the world around you.  It forces you to lose control.  To sacrifice. Be vulnerable. Consider the well being of someone who is not capable of helping themselves.  To love so deeply you feel like your chest might explode.  You will spend your whole life hoping that one big question looming over this little life…are they happy?…will be yes.  Their story has just begun to be written.  Ahead of them lies excitement, hope, love, hurt, dreams, failure, choices, consequences…the list goes on.

The moment a life enters the world…I imagine it’s truly a moment filled with so much possibility…and so many emotions…all wrapped up in one little being.  When I stop and really dwell on what it means for someone to have a child…it really amazes me.”

Hope you enjoy the slideshow… And I have to give the song credit to Brittany Strebeck…when I first heard it, I fell in love and couldn’t think of a better song to go with this sweet slideshow!
