Courtney & Drew were married this weekend at Spirit Ranch here in Lubbock. It turned out to be a beautiful summer day and we knew the wedding was going to be so awesome…after all- our favorite wedding planner, Jill was planning it and of the details we had heard about we were super excited! 🙂 We love working with Jill, it seems that wedding days seem to go by so much smoother when she is a part of the mix! If you’re beginning to plan your wedding we highly recommend Jill to help you with all the details that you didn’t even knew you needed to have!
I’ll never forgot Courtney & Drew’s first look. I asked her if she wanted to tap him on the shoulder to turn around or if we needed to tell him when he could turn around to see her standing in front of him, and she was quick to answer “I want to tap him on the shoulder”… As I walked with her outside to see her future husband, the location was perfect and a beautiful breeze was warning off the hot midday sun…I almost missed the shot as she quickly ran up to him and grabbed his shoulders almost in a hug to have him turn around and see her as his bride in her wedding dress for the first time. The excitement they both shared was pure love and the way that they looked at and held each other was proof of that love…
I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking! Congratulations Courtney & Drew! Hope you’re having a blast on your honeymoon!!

I’m not gonna lie. I was a little bit jealous of Courtney’s new converse with her new name on them. In case you didn’t know-purple and green are my favorite colors. Cool, right?!
One of the many sweet faces during their first look.
The flowers by Garden Works were Beautiful!!
That’s a good lookin’ bridal party right there…
For all of you skeptics of the first look out there… These two had a first look…and still look at this image. He teared up watching his girl walk down the aisle… The first look doesn’t take away from that moment! In my opinion, it only adds to it!!
Cutest ring bearer…and a soda bar at the reception!!
Some really sweet toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man
And the entertainment?!?! A band called Songs of Sinatra featuring Dave Hallum from Ft. Worth were SO good!!! And added so much to the nostalgia feel of the wedding!
Plus, it was great music that EVERYONE could dance to! 🙂
