Laurie + Layne | Throckmorton Wedding Photographer

What a fun wedding this was! When I found out that Laurie & Layne were getting married in Laurie’s hometown of Throckmorton- I was excited and a little nervous! 🙂 I had driven through Throckmorton several times on my way to my grandparent’s lake house and even on the way to DFW to visit family. See, I was excited to get to visit my grandparents and have a place to stay for the wedding, and I was a little nervous, because I had only ever driven through Throckmorton and it’s kind of one of those towns where if you blink you might miss it- So I wasn’t quite sure what a wedding would look like out there!  Well lucky for us- Laurie and her family put on one of the most beautiful small town Texas weddings I’ve ever seen! With so many personal touches and sweet moments! It was truly an honor to be a part of this special day for these two and their families!! They were married at The First United Methodist Church there in Throckmorton and the reception was held at Laurie’s grandparent’s house complete with a white picket fence. It was absolute Southern Wedding perfection! 🙂  And I LOVED all the beautiful orange decor! Okay- onto the photos!!

We just couldn’t let this Gorgeous Texas night sky go to waste! So glad Laurie & Layne let us follow them after leaving the reception to capture this! 🙂
